Eau Claire Energy Cooperative's mission is to ensure our members recieve safe and reliable power. Some ways Eau Claire Energy Cooperative works to accomplish that is by controlling vegetation around power lines and by ensuring the structural integretiy of power poles. Because of this, ECEC will have some third-party contractors in the areas shown on the maps below to trim and spray vegetation and inspect poles internal stability.

2023 Pole Inspection Area

Karcz Utility Services will be in above highlighted green area of ECEC's service territory to conduct pole inspections. This is to ensure that poles are sound and do not need to be replaced. This work should not disrupt power in any way. Members in this area should have received a post card notifying them.

Zielie’s Tree Services will also be in the lime green and purple highlighted areas of ECEC's service territory in coming weeks to spray below overhead power lines and trim vegetation to ensure reliability for ECEC members. This work will not disrupt power in any way. If you are in either of these areas, you should have received a post from Eau Claire Energy Cooperative to inform you of this.
